  2. My reading convinced me that an Omega 3 rich diet would be a good thing for me. Once I decided to change my diet, I looked over a number of pertinent books on the subject and ordered three: one on the diet itself; two on recipes. Of the two recipe books this was far and away the better book. The recipes are down to earth and varied. Everyone should find some recipes in this book that will get them started on the Omega 3 diet. I was especially impressed with the introduction of the book which, while short, is packed with information about the diet in general and the importance of balancing the Omega3 to Omega 6 fat ratio. The body of the work is organized by meal type: breakfast; lunches & light meals; snacks; dinners; and desserts. Each menu has its own page and in the margins each has a breakout informing you of the number of servings it makes, the ingredients providing the Omega 3 sources, nutritional facts per portion, and what to serve with the recipe, how long to make, and how to store. Each page/recipe is presented in the same simple, yet fact filled, way. Even the cover (front and back) is designed with flaps that can be used as bookmarks to hold open to a recipe in the kitchen. I recommend this as an excellent Omega 3 recipe book to introduce you to the diet.
